Dr. Paul Doi
Dr. Doi attended Brigham Young University and received his B.S. in Zoology in 1996. He attended the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, receiving his D.D.S. in May 2000 and graduating with summa cum laude honors.
Following graduation from dental school, he served in the United States Air Force and completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. He was then stationed at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. He was deployed to the country of Qatar for just under six months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, completing his active duty commitment in June 2003. Upon graduation with a master’s degree from the orthodontics program at Saint Louis University in January 2006, he, his wife, Jillynn, and their four children relocated to Arizona, where he joined the private practice of Dr. Dick Dykman in Chandler, Arizona.
Dr. Doi stays abreast of the latest advances in orthodontics with memberships in the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. A board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Doi strives to stay at the forefront of new technology and procedures, including mini-implants, laser technology and self-ligating brackets.
In his spare time, Dr. Doi enjoys spending time with his family, running, mountain biking, and volunteering with the Boy Scouts.
Dr. Dick Dykman
Dr. Dykman earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed his degree in Dentistry at the University of Michigan. Dr. Dykman was a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan Center for Human Growth and Development for eight years. During his research tenure, he completed his specialty certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Arizona Dental Association, Arizona Society of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Dykman and his family are active in community affairs. He has practiced orthodontics exclusively in Arizona since 1991. He practiced orthodontics exclusively in Michigan from 1978 to 1988.
In his leisure time, Dr. Dykman enjoys golfing, landscaping and traveling.
